How to Participate
Getting ready for Health Access Day is easy.
Pre-Register (Recommended)
Sign up online to receive event details and reduce wait times. Walk-ins are always welcome, but pre-registration helps us serve you better.
Gather Documents
Bring ID, insurance cards, income documents (if applying for benefits), and any medications or health records you want to discuss.
Attend the Event
Arrive at the scheduled location. Check in, visit stations for screenings and services, speak with navigators and providers.
Follow Up
We will help you schedule follow-up appointments, complete applications, and connect with ongoing services after the event.

Is Health Access Day really free?
Yes, 100% free. All screenings, services, and consultations are provided at no cost. No insurance required, no fees, no hidden charges.
Do I need to bring anything?
Bring government-issued ID, insurance cards (if you have them), and income documents if applying for benefits. If you do not have these, still come. We will help you regardless.
Can I walk in without pre-registering?
Absolutely! Pre-registration is recommended to reduce wait times, but walk-ins are always welcome. Come when you can, stay as long as you need.
What if I have insurance already?
Health Access Day is for everyone. Even if you have insurance, you can benefit from free screenings, education, and resource connections.
Can I bring my family?
Yes! We encourage families to attend together. Services are available for all ages, from children to seniors.
Will there be services in Spanish?
Yes, bilingual navigators and interpreters will be available. For other languages, let us know when you pre-register and we will arrange support.
How long does the event last?
Health Access Day typically runs 4-6 hours. You can arrive any time during the event and take as much or as little time as you need.
Can I volunteer at Health Access Day?
Yes! We need volunteers for many roles. Visit our Volunteer page or contact The SozoRock Foundation to sign up.
What happens after Health Access Day?
Navigators follow up with everyone who requests it. We help complete applications, schedule appointments, and connect you with ongoing services. You are not alone after the event.
Will Health Access Day happen every year?
Yes! We plan to host Health Access Day annually in both Schoharie and Delaware Counties. Dates may vary year to year based on community needs and partner availability.
